In celebration of Earth Week, Penn Sustainability supports the greening of Greater Philadelphia by providing free trees to staff and faculty of Penn. Registration opens April 22 and pick-up is scheduled for May 9.

Take Our Children to Work Day

The Division of Human Resources presents Take Our Children to Work Day, recommended for children ages 9 to 14. A range of programs, like carnival games at Van Pelt-Dietrich Library and coloring with Penny the Pig at the Franklin Building, will be available.

Excellence in Graduate Teaching Reception

The vice provost for education and the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Innovation celebrate the Penn Prize for Excellence in Teaching by Graduate Students. The reception will honor the 10 winners in departments ranging from Anthropology to Neuroscience.

Jerry H. Goldfeder

Adjunct professor of Law

Goldfeder, special counsel at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP in Manhattan, is a prominent election lawyer with more than 35 five years of trial and appellate experience. He teaches election law at Penn and Fordham and is the author of Goldfeder's Modern Election Law and the government and election law column in the New York Law Journal.
