John L. Jackson Jr. named Penn’s next provost
The Walter H. Annenberg Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication and Richard Perry University Professor will begin his appointment on June 1, 2023.
Penn announces the largest one-time increase to minimum Ph.D. stipend
The University-wide minimum Ph.D. stipend will rise from $30,547 to $38,000 and goes into effect in the coming academic year.
Building mentorship—through food
A new initiative, Mentor Meals, aims to bring students together with faculty and staff through a complimentary lunch at Lauder College House.
2022 Presidential Ph.D. Fellows announced at Penn
The Fellows come from the nine schools at Penn that offer Ph.D. programs, and will receive a three-year fellowship, including funds to support their research.
