Four Penn Researchers Awarded Sloan Fellowships

PHILADELPHIA — Four University of Pennsylvania faculty members are among this year’s Sloan Fellowship recipients. Since 1955, the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has granted yearly fellowships to early-career scientists and scholars whose achievements and potential identify them the next generation of scientific leaders.

Penn Announces 2012-13 Financial-Aid Budget, Tuition

PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Pennsylvania today reaffirmed its commitment to an all-grant, no-loan financial-aid program as its Board of Trustees authorized a $181 million financial-aid budget for 2012-13 while increasing total undergraduate charges by 3.9 percent, the second lowest in 44 years.
