In celebration of Earth Week, Penn Sustainability supports the greening of Greater Philadelphia by providing free trees to staff and faculty of Penn. Registration opens April 22 and pick-up is scheduled for May 9.

Take Our Children to Work Day

Excellence in Graduate Teaching Reception

The vice provost for education and the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning and Innovation celebrate the Penn Prize for Excellence in Teaching by Graduate Students. The reception will honor the 10 winners in departments ranging from Anthropology to Neuroscience.

Professor Jennifer Blouin’s research centers on the role of taxation in firm decision making. She studies taxation in many contexts, including capital structure, asset pricing, payout policy and multinational firm behavior. Professor Blouin’s research has been published in top-tier academic journals including Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, National Tax Journal and the Journal of the American Taxation Association.
