Sorority Leaders Stand By Decision to Keep U-Va. Women Away From Frat Parties

National sorority leaders are standing by their decision to keep University of Virginia sorority members away from fraternity parties Saturday night for their own safety. This weekend will be a big one at U-Va., with fraternities celebrating their new members on Saturday night, an annual tradition known as Boys’ Bid Night, and the most important home game of the year for the undefeated men’s basketball team. After a traumatic fall semester and a temporary suspension of all Greek activities, many students are ready to get back to normal.
