University of Virginia President Teresa A. Sullivan gave this speech Friday in Charlottesville, addressing campus safety and other recent issues that have challenged the community of Virginia’s public flagship. A university official said Sullivan was aiming to spotlight efforts to shape “the university’s future entering its third century.”
