Spring Stay Treasure Hunt

Houston Hall
For Spring Stay, the Vice Provost for University Life presents this treasure hunt for students to enjoy. The University Life Campus Grab and Greet Treasure Hunt entails a campus-exploration treasure hunt, starting at Houston Hall and ending at Penn Commons. Participating students are encouraged to reduce virus transmission risk by wearing a mask, staying physically distanced, washing hands, and staying home if feeling sick.

Future of Work in 21st-Century Africa

The Africa Symposium, hosted by the Lauder Institute in collaboration with The Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT and Baobab Consulting, features conversations between a diverse lineup of business leaders, practitioners, policy makers, and academics on a rapidly changing continent. The theme of the symposium is the future of work in Africa and how COVID-19 has affected that future. Tickets are complementary.

In recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the African American Resource Center invites Marc Lamont Hill, a professor of media studies and urban education at Temple University, for a guest lecture. There will also be a dance performance by Nia-Next and a music performance by singing group Inspiration A Capella.
