Fun games and other cool stuff for kids

Joining the stable of games on WXPN's "Kid's Corner" this month is the "Mystery History Game," where kids talk to famous figures from history to solve the mystery. In regular rotation with the "BrainBusters" game, the Mystery History game airs again on Monday, Feb. 2.

Other upcoming Kid's Corner call-in shows include "Science Stump-o-Rama" on Wednesday, Jan. 28, where callers match wits with Science Guys Mike Weilbacher and Derrick Pitts; the CompuDudes, Peter Cook and Scott Manning, on Thursday, Jan. 29; and Dr. Mimi Mahon on Monday, Feb. 2.

Other "Kid's Corner" highlights include the Girl Scouts of America, pushing cookies (of course!), on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and kids answering the all-important question "Why should adults support 'Kid's Corner' during the WXPN fund drive?" on Wednesday, Feb. 4, the evening before the drive begins.

The Peabody Award-winning "Kid's Corner" airs weeknights at 7 p.m. on WXPN (88.5 FM).
