Editor's Pick: Tapping out a tribute
Ann Miller hoofed it on the silver screen. Gregory Hines tore up the stage in the 1992 Broadway musical, “Jelly’s Last Jam.” Now, today’s greatest tap dancers pay homage to the greatest dancers of the art form in the new Dance Celebration work, “Thank You Gregory! A Tribute to the Legend of Tap,” which runs from May 19 through 21 at the Annenberg Center. The all-star cast of tappers includes choreographer Brenda Bufalino, Tony Waag, who founded the American Tap Dance Orchestra with Bufalino and former “Riverdance” player Karen Callaway Williams (left).

Huntsman: Honesty still matters
Jon M. Huntsman still believes in such basic virtues as honesty and integrity. Given the state of American business, he wishes other executives did as well. “We’re taught as children not to cut in line. We’re taught manners,” says Huntsman, Chairman of the Board of Overseers at the Wharton School. “Business doesn’t need to be a cutthroat enterprise. You can be a decent person ... and still be very successful.”

Penn's President Amy Gutmann to Deliver Commencement Address at Wesleyan University
MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann will deliver the May 22 commencement address to 850 graduates at Wesleyan University during the school's 173rd commencement exercises.Gutmann also will be one of four people to receive honorary degrees from Wesleyan that day.

Penn Partners with Philadelphia Orchestra to Bring Recitals and Music Lessons to Students in Dorms
PHILADELPHIA -The University of Pennsylvania Music Department and the Philadelphia Orchestra are tuning up to make beautiful music together -- not in concert halls but in College Houses. Philadelphia Orchestra musicians will be coming to the Penn campus to give informal recitals for students "where they live" as part of the Orchestra Raising the Invisible Curtain Program.
