Firoozeh Kashani-Sabet is the Walter H. Annenberg Professor of History and former director of the Middle East Center at Penn. She is an expert on U.S.-Iranian relations, modern Iranian history, and the Persian Gulf and has published extensively on the subjects. She has made several media appearances to discuss contemporary issues concerning Iran and the Middle East.
