Penn Trustees approve 2024-2025 undergraduate charges and financial aid budget
The University of Pennsylvania Board of Trustees has approved a 3.9% increase in tuition and a record $311 million undergraduate financial aid budget for the coming year.

Nine honored at Alumni Award of Merit Gala
At the 2023 Alumni Award of Merit Gala, eight distinguished alumni will receive Awards of Merit, the Creative Spirit Award, and the inaugural Penn Alumni Social Impact Award, and Camille Z. Charles will receive the Faculty Award of Merit.
The Fellows come from the nine schools at Penn that offer Ph.D. programs, and will receive a three-year fellowship, including funds to support their research.

National Academy of Medicine elects five new members from Penn
Kurt T. Barnhart, Christopher B. Forrest, Susan L. Furth, Desmond Upton Patton, and Robert H. Vonderheide are among 100 new Academy members elected this year, one of the highest honors in health and medicine.
