Models of Excellence awards standout Penn staffers

In recognition of their distinguished accomplishments, 79 Penn staff members have won the 2016 Models of Excellence Award. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 21, at 4 p.m. in Irvine Auditorium, followed by a reception.

President Gutmann Announces 2015 President’s Engagement Prize Winners at Penn

President Amy Gutmann today announced the selection of five undergraduates at the University of Pennsylvania as the inaugural President’s Engagement Prize recipients. Awarded annually to Penn students to design and undertake fully-funded local, national or global engagement projects during the first year after they graduate, the President’s Engagement Prizes underscore the high priority that Penn places on educating students to put their knowledge to work for the betterment of humankind.

A 2021 Rhodes Scholar for Penn

May graduate Mackenzie Fierceton from St. Louis been awarded the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for graduate study at the University of Oxford in England. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and is currently completing her master’s degree in clinical social work.
