Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap, with Jim Collins

Author Jim Collins has spent over a decade researching great companies. In this live, interactive satellite class, he’ll talk about how great companies grow and attain superior performance and how good companies can become great companies. The program includes a 30-minute Q&A session.

Annual Briefing for Administrative Professionals: Take Charge of Your Life, featuring Suze Orman

In this live satellite transmission, Suze Orman, financial contributor to NBC News’ “Today” and author of “9 Steps to Financial Freedom,” will provide advice on nine practical and spiritual steps you can take to learn how to stop worrying, control your finances and enjoy greater financial freedom. Lunch is provided.

Human Resource Management Principles

This four-session, weekly program uses both classroom and online instruction and is designed for all managers who want to learn about the principles and processes associated with human resources management. The course will cover Penn’s hiring process, selection standards, interviewing, the legal aspects of employment and affirmative action, and how to use Penn’s technology for information related to human resources issues.
