Excellence on exhibit
The Institute of Contemporary Art’s “Charles LeDray, Sculpture 1989-2002” exhibition has won second place in the category Best Show in a Kunsthalle or Alternative Space by the U.S. Art Critics Association. The award recognizes exceptional work in the visual arts by artists, curators, critics, scholars, and cultural institutions. Curated by ICA Director Claudia Gould, the exhibit is the first museum survey of works by LeDray, who creates sculpture from materials like bone, fabric and porcelain.
