Garden Railway
The Morris Arboretum’s iconic Garden Railway, a quarter-mile stretch of model trains and buildings made from natural materials like seeds, logs, and twigs, re-opens for the summer season. In all, there are 15 rail lines, two cable cars, and nine bridges on display, in addition to replicas of buildings like Independence Hall—assembled with pine cone seeds, acorns, and twigs. The Railway is open daily through Labor Day, Sept. 3, then weekends only through Columbus Day, Oct. 8.
