The Penn Institute for Urban Research and Penn Press welcome Enrique Peñalosa Londoño, a former mayor of Bogotá, Colombia, who will deliver a talk about equality and the city. The talk will be followed by a panel featuring Manny Diaz, a former mayor of Miami; Richard Freeland, a former president of Northeastern University; urban planner Eleanor Sharpe; and former Penn President Judith Rodin.

Lunar New Year 2025

Penn Museum presents its 44th annual Lunar New Year celebration, as part of the CultureFest! series. Attendees can celebrate the Year of the Snake with lion dancing, a performance from Penn K-Beats, and a panel discussion about the similarities and differences in Lunar New Year celebrations across cultures.

Perry World House’s 2018 Global Shifts Colloquium, “Prospects for Institutional and Policy Reform on International Migration and Refugees,” will bring together several hundred academics, practitioners, policymakers, students, and members of the public for panel discussions and a keynote, which will be delivered by Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.
