In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Building Better Nutrition Together

The Perelman School of Medicine, the Community Grocer, and the Cobbs Creek community collaborate for this open dialogue about the challenges of improving health by having a healthier diet. The conversation will include results from a nutrition study conducted over the summer. Lunch is provided.

Solidarity and Belonging

The Graduate School of Education invites Juan Llamas-Rodriguez, an assistant professor in the Annenberg School for Communication, to the next event in their speaker series, “Solidarity and Belonging Beyond Borders.” Llamas-Rodriguez will present his book, “Border Tunnels: A Media Theory of the US-Mexico Underground.” Registration is required.
