In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Artists and scholars join to discuss artistic practice as a way of bringing about and documenting revolution. Along with a group of multi-disciplinary artists engaging in the conversation is Corine Labridy, an assistant professor of French and Francophone Studies, and Gwendalynn Roebke, a graduate student in the Department of Philosophy.
