In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Director Deepak Rauniyar portrays the consequences of the civil war between Maoists and Nepal's monarchy in this film about the main character, Chandra's, homecoming to his village. Rauniyar and actress Asha Magarati join for discussion after the screening. This event is sponsored by Slought and the Social Justice and Arts Integration Initiative at Penn.
