In a novel effort to combat COVID-19 misinformation, a group of women researchers, including nurse scientists from the School of Nursing, launched the Dear Pandemic social media campaign in March 2020 to deliver comprehensive and timely information about the COVID-19 pandemic in a question-and-answer format.

Richard Weller, professor and chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture and co-executive director of The Ian L. Caregivers across the country found themselves faced with new challenges. The Penn Memory Center began the Caregiver Forums in March 2020 in an attempt to provide caregivers a space where they could talk freely and share advice as they learned to navigate caring for their loved ones during the pandemic.
