    In “Addressing Personal-Income-Tax Manipulation with Tools from Psychology,” Alex Rees-Jones, a Wharton professor of operations, information and decisions, advocates for the government to use psychological tools to maximize tax collection by tapping into what he called a taxpayer’s “gain/loss framing.”

  • Under innovative contract, hospital readmissions cut by more than 25 percent

    After the first year of a five-year contract between the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Independence Blue Cross (Independence), the health system is reporting a more than 25 percent cut in hospital readmissions—the largest readmission reduction in both organizations’ history.

  • Touche, Bartel named All-Ivy

    Sophomore defender Alex Touche and junior captain midfielder Brandon Bartel from the men's soccer team were both named All-Ivy. Touche's honor marks the third-straight year the Quakers have landed a player on first-team All-Ivy.
