This past fall, assistant professor of City and Regional Planning Allison Lassiter led a class called Sensing the City, in which fifteen students from the City Planning, Masters of Urban Spatial Analytics, and Integrated Product Design programs used Arduino to develop concepts for collecting data from and interacting with the urban environment.

The Allen Institute has announced the launch of the Allen Institute for Immunology, a new division of the Institute that is dedicated to studying the human immune system, with Penn Medicine and four other leading clinical research organizations.
