In a groundbreaking report by the Annenberg School for Communication’s Iran Media Program, authors Magdalena Wojcieszak, Briar Smith and Mahmood Enayat reveal results of surveys showing how Iranians use digital media as well as television, radio and publications.

PHILADELPHIA – Annette Lareau has been named president-elect of the American Sociological Association. She is the Stanley I. Sheerr Professor of Social Sciences in the University of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences’ sociology department. Following a year of service as president-elect, Lareau’s term as president will begin in August 2013. In the meantime, she will chair the 2014 Program Committee that will shape the 2014 ASA Annual Meeting, in San Francisco.

Penn Nursing students spend many hours in the classroom, but their curriculum also provides hands-on instruction, through simulation education. The Simulation Center on the first floor of the Claire Fagin Hall is undergoing an expansion project to create enhanced simulation space. The new 7,500 square foot facility will be nearly twice the size of its former one.
