In his "Tour of Duty" lecture, Bobby Muller will discuss American foreign policy, the prospect of a military draft and citizen engagement in foreign affairs.

Muller, who was paralyzed while serving in the Vietnam War, founded Vietnam Veterans of America in 1978 and the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation in 1980 to fight for fair treatment of war veterans.   He co-founded the Nobel Peace Prize-winning International Campaign to Ban Landmines as well as the Nuclear Threat Reduction Campaign and Campaign for Criminal Justice Reform.

Sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania's International Relations Program, SPEC Connaissance, Browne Center for International Politics, and Alliance for Security, the lecture is free and open to the public.
