Claudia Goldin, professor of economics at Harvard University, will deliver the keynote address, "The Long Road to the Fast Track," at the "Mommies and Daddies on the Fast Track: Success of Parents in Demanding Professions" Conference Oct. 30.
The invitational conference is one of a series of events at the University to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Penn Women's Center and the 20th anniversary of the Alice Paul Center for Research on Women and Gender.
The speech, which is free and open to the public, will be followed by a public reception from 6 to 7 p.m.
