It uncovers why an individual can be pleasant to one person, then offensive to another, simply in response to that person’s behavior. Registration for this course is not being accepted over the Web. Communicating with Summer Camp Directors: How to Choose

Although the weather is freezing and there may be snow on the ground, it is not too early to think about plans for your child this summer. Sponsored by HR and led by an expert from Penn’s Employee Assistance Program and Work/Life Benefit Provider, this session offers an overview on camp options and costs and gives you tips on important questions to ask during a telephone interview. You’ll also get suggestions on what to pack and how to monitor the camp. The workshop includes a discussion on childcare options before and after camp sessions.

Butt-Out: Smoking Cessation

Are you thinking of quitting smoking? This half-hour video will take you through the quitting process, from getting ready to quit to how to overcome setbacks. Following the video, learn about a free “Quit for Health” program available through the Penn Tobacco Use Research Center. This workshop is offered in conjunction with Penn’s Health Promotion partner, Independence Blue Cross.
