Show of the year
In our last issue, we told you about the year-long undergraduate curatorship seminar for Penn fine arts students (Current, April 17). The final exam goes on display Saturday, May 3.
“ s(how)” explores the themes of ephemerality and bodily consumption and demonstrates how one body of work can be interpreted in a number of different ways. Besides “s(how),” two other exhibits open May 3 at the ICA: “Das Hochzeitshaus” (“The Wedding House”) by Nadine Robinson, the latest in the ICA’s series of ramp installations, and a retrospective of Polly Apfelbaum’s work, which mixes painting, sculpture, and site-specific installation.
