Eco dining

The ground floor of The Radian is getting a new tenant. The eatery Sweetgreen will open its doors late this spring at 3925 Walnut St., serving salads, yogurt and wraps. Sweetgreen offers healthy, eco-conscious dining choices, relying on local and organic farmers for products. All packaging is 100 percent plant-based compostable and all proteins on the menu are hormone- and antibiotic-free. The company offsets 100 percent of its energy with wind energy credits.

Sweetgreen was started in 2007 by three Georgetown alumni, and has locations in Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Md., Reston and Ballston, Va. and Ardmore, Pa. For more information, visit the Sweetgreen website: www.sweetgreen.com.
