  • USTFCCCA recognizes 23 from track & field with All-Academic honors

    Penn’s men and women’s track & field programs were recognized with USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors, in addition to 23 individuals on the All-Academic list. The men finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.33, while the women were just ahead at 3.35. Both teams improved on their cumulative scores from last year.

    The new Team Science Grant, titled the "Determinants of immune activity and molecular features in BRCA1/2 mutation carriers," will support Katherine L. Nathanson and her team as they study new approaches to understanding immune function both in healthy BRCA mutation carriers and BRCA-related cancers.

  • With new 4WD car, Penn Electric Racing adds to its trophy collection

    Penn Electric Racing is now the first American team to successfully run a four-wheel-drive vehicle at the student racecar competition Formula SAE Lincoln Electric. It earned REV5 third place overall at Lincoln, as well as the first place Cummins Inc. Applied Technology Award for the car’s battery design.
