  • Regional COVID-19 Response Dashboard analyzes more than $40M in giving

    Developed by the Center for High Impact Philanthropy and Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia (Philanthropy Network) with support from William Penn and Lenfest Foundations, the dashboard is one of the first efforts to collect grants data from numerous pooled giving funds and share it publicly, mapped against demographic and economic data.

  • Center for Guaranteed Income Research is launched

    Mayors for a Guaranteed Income and the School of Social Policy & Practice has established the Center for Guaranteed Income Research, to consolidate the key learnings from the pilots taking place, address knowledge gaps in the contemporary understanding of guaranteed income’s impact for Americans, and allow the organization to layer data with anecdotal evidence in federal advocacy.

  • MSSP partners with CHILD USA to offer Social Science Fellowship Program

    Founded by Marci Hamilton, a Penn professor and advocate for the civil rights of children, CHILD USA conducts evidence-based research to identify laws and policies affecting child protection. Through the internship, Social Science Fellows have the opportunity to analyze data and conduct research on topics including abuse in sports, statutes of limitation, conversion therapy, educational neglect, and child safety during COVID-19.
