  • Four Penn students receive prestigious National Academy of Education/Spencer Dissertation Fellowships

    Briana Nichols, Jessica Peng, Chelsea Chamberlain, and Peter Francis Harvey were awarded the honor for their dissertations, which present fresh and constructive perspectives to the history, theory, analysis, or practice of formal or informal education throughout the world.

  • Daris McInnis, Penn GSE doctoral student and Army vet, named a Tillman Scholar

    After teaching in schools and nonprofit literacy programs, and looking at new ways to serve marginalized communities, McInnis has been named a Tillman Scholar. He is the first Penn GSE student, and is believed to be the first Black Penn student, to receive the honor.

  • Grace Cho and Raymond Magsaysay selected for the Don H. Liu Scholars Program
