WHAT: A public forum on the problems and potentials of the Penn's Landing site and the Philadelphia Riverfront.

The University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Fine Arts and the Philadelphia Inquirer will host a public forum on the potential of the Philadelphia Riverfront and Penn's Landing.
The program includes lectures, a panel discussion and a question-and-answer session. Handouts will be available to provide more background information on riverfront issues.
James Corner will talk about "The Delaware River and its Context." Witold Rybczynski and Peter Linneman will speak on "Why Six Development Schemes Failed." Gary Hack will discuss "Examples of Excellence from Cities around the World."
This forum is part of an ongoing project to address issues concerning the riverfront and provide feedback to the mayor, the Philadelphia City Council and city agencies.
