When a visiting Canadian man wanted to propose to his girlfriend in a memorable way, the Penn Glee Club and the Penn Singers Light Opera Company joined in to help him surprise her.

Ahead of an extended layover in Philadelphia on the couple’s way to Paris, Todd confided to the Philadelphia Mural Arts tour office that he wanted to propose to Meghan on the Mural Arts “Love Letter Tour.” The Mural Arts folks enlisted the participation of the two Penn singing groups in what turned out to be a proposal scenario that Todd and Meghan’s great-great-great grandchildren will be talking about many years from now.
