Ron Ozio directs local, national, and international media-relations activities in the central University Communications Office. He is also the news-media contact for matters related to the administration and admissions and is the contact for permission to film on campus. 

Penn Names Eric J. Furda New Dean of Admissions

Eric J. Furda, vice president for alumni relations and former executive director of undergraduate admissions at Columbia University, has been named dean of admissions at the University of Pennsylvania. Furda, a 1987 Penn graduate, will assume his position as dean on July 1, 2008.

"Making History": University of Pennsylvania Sets Five-Year Fundraising Goal of $3.5 Billion

PHILADELPHIA -- President Amy Gutmann announced this evening that the University of Pennsylvania has launched "Making History: The Campaign for Penn," a $3.5 billion fundraising campaign.  Joined by University trustees and other campaign leaders at a celebration on Penn's College Green, Gutmann reported that $1.6 billion has already been raised toward the campaign goal.

Thomas S. Robertson Is Named Dean of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School

PHILADELPHIA -- Thomas S.  Robertson, executive faculty director of the Institute for Developing Nations at Emory University and former dean of Emory's Goizueta Business School, has been named dean of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School.  The appointment, effective Aug. 1, was announced by Penn President Amy Gutmann and Provost Ron Daniels.

Penn Sets Tuition for 2007-2008 Academic Year

PHILADELPHIA -- Total undergraduate charges for tuition, fees and room and board at the University of Pennsylvania will increase 4.9 percent for the 2007-2008 academic year, bringing the total cost of an undergraduate year to $46,124.  The increase was approved today by Penn's Board of Trustees.
