As part of the Race and Regulation Lecture Series, Ming Hsu Chen, a visiting professor at the University of California Hastings College, gives a talk on the relationship between race, citizenship, and political inequality. The talk will address what role formal citizenship plays in excluding non-citizens, particularly racialized foreigners of Asian, Muslim, Black, and Latinx descent.
