Mathias Basner of the Perelman School of Medicine said using bedrooms as classrooms, gyms, and offices amid the pandemic can make sleeping more difficult. “We typically tell patients that the bedroom is only for two things: sleeping and sex,” he said. “But obviously we realize that not everybody may have that option.”
