Joseph Turow of the Annenberg School for Communication discussed the results of his new poll on surveillance. The study found that “political affiliation is a main predictor of Americans’ emotional reactions to surveillance,” with Democrats being more likely to feel negatively about surveillance and Republicans more likely to feel positively about it.
