Peter Reese and David Goldberg of the Perelman School of Medicine are highlighted for their study that shows the method of transplanting hepatitis C-positive kidneys into hepatitis C-negative recipients and subsequently treating the recipients with an antiviral therapy to eliminate the contracted virus.
