The University of California at San Diego received a $100 million pledge for its graduate school of management to help recruit faculty and provide scholarships. The school is already named for the donors, Evelyn and Ernest Rady, who gave $30 million in 2004 to create the Rady School of Management and almost $10 million more since then. The donation will be given to the school over an undefined period of time, said Zachary Smith, director of development for the Rady School. The couple doesn’t have any direct connection to the school other than living in the community, Smith said.
