Amanda Mott manages media relations related to the Office of the Executive Vice President which includes facilities and real estate, Penn’s Climate Action Plan, student financial services, business services, campus housing and dining, and the endowment. In addition, she covers Commencement and Penn Global including Perry World House, the Penn Wharton China Center, and the Penn Biden Center. 

Hey Day: A Uniquely Penn Tradition

Following a tradition that reaches back to 1916, Penn juniors celebrated Hey Day 2014 on May 1, by donning red shirts, strutting along Locust Walk carrying mahogany walking canes, and biting into flat-brimmed hats.

2014 Marks 120th Penn Relays

On April 24 through 26, as the Penn Relays celebrated its 120th year, more than 18,000 athletes from more than 60 countries took to Franklin Field on the University of Pennsylvania campus to compete in 425 events.

Penn Models of Excellence Award Winners Honored

On April 3, 600 members of the Penn community gathered in Irvine Auditorium at the University of Pennsylvania to honor the 2014 Models of Excellence, Pillars of Excellence and Model Supervisor Award winners. Penn President Amy Gutmann, Provost Vincent Price and Executive Vice President Craig Carnaroli were on hand to make the presentations and applaud the honorees.
