Louisa Shepard covers English, history of art, music, theater, classical studies, and cinema and media studies, among other subject areas, in the School of Arts and Sciences. She also supports coverage for the Kelly Writers House, the Graduate School of Education, the Penn Libraries, the Penn Museum, the Arthur Ross Gallery, and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships, as well as fine arts in the Stuart Weitzman School of Design. 

Women’s Way Honors Penn President Amy Gutmann

University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann has been honored with the Lucretia Mott Award from Women’s Way, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit. The award is given annually to “an outstanding American woman whose work speaks of a commitment to the values of equality, justice and peace for all.”

Volunteers needed to help with May 16 primary

Penn’s Office of Government and Community Affairs (OGCA) is recruiting volunteers to help at six of the eight polling places on campus for the Pennsylvania primary election on Tuesday, May 16. To qualify, individuals must be registered to vote in Philadelphia and be available to work from 6:30 a.m.
