  Some University of Pennsylvania students who are business majors are learning about ways businesses can work to help society.

PHILADELPHIA –- The University of Pennsylvania will join Princeton University, the University of Michigan, the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University in partnering with Coursera, an online education platform, to make Web-based courses available free and to improve teaching on campuses.

PHILADELPHIA – University of Pennsylvania senior Eileen Moison has been awarded a Gates Cambridge Scholarship to spend at least a year at Cambridge University in the United Kingdom pursuing a graduate degree in biochemistry.  Afterwards she plans to continue towards a doctoral degree in biochemistry/molecular biology.
