The Inquisition's Inquisitor

Penn Libraries celebrates the publication of the first comprehensive biography of Henry Charles Lea, whose library, including the physical space, and papers reside in the Kislak Center. A talk will take place by Richard L. Kagan, author of “The Inquisition’s Inquisitor: Henry Charles Lea of Philadelphia.”

Paris Climate Accord

The Paris Climate Accord to address climate change was drafted as part of the 21st Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Paris in 2015. Member countries signing the accord, which became official on 4 November 2016, agreed to work towards reducing greenhouse emissions.
