PHILADELPHIA — The University of Pennsylvania’s College of Liberal and Professional Studies has launched the LPS Open Learning Commons, an interactive online learning platform that incorporates social networking.

PHILADELPHIA — “Louis I. Kahn: The Making of a Room,” which opens at the University of Pennsylvania’s Arthur Ross Gallery on Feb. 7, is an exhibit of 40 original drawings, exploring Kahn’s concept that the room is a building block of architecture.

PHILADELPHIA –- The University of Pennsylvania will remember Martin Luther King Jr. with a “Commemorative Symposium on Social Change” and nearly two weeks of special events, including lectures, films and discussions on the Penn campus from Jan. 15 to 30.
Penn alum Amy Jane Cohen is profiled for her new book “Black History in the Philadelphia Landscape,” which examines Black history through the lens of events, institutions, and individuals across the city. The book includes a reflection from Penn chaplain Charles Howard.
