The Faculty Senate hosts this first in a series of roundtables about the future of American universities. Panelists include Irene Mulvey, former president of the American Association of University Professors; Michael Roth, president of Wesleyan University; and John Sexton, president emeritus of New York University. Kathleen Hall Jamieson of the Annenberg School for Communication will moderate a discussion about politics and higher education.

Energy Week 2025

Penn Schools, centers, institutes, student groups, and more host events for Energy Week 2025, ranging from Lightning Talks hosted by the Kleinman Center to a talk about climate change and artificial intelligence, hosted by the Penn Environmental Innovations Initiative.

The 124th Penn Relays will take place at Franklin Field. In partnership with Human Resources’ Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, Penn Athletics is giving away two free tickets to faculty and staff members on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, faculty and staff can receive discounted pricing by using code: PENNCARDPR. Students are eligible for free tickets on Thursday and Friday, by logging into their online ticket account or showing their PennCard at the Weightman Hall Ticket Office on race day. Saturday tickets are $6 if students buy them online in advance, or $10 on race day.
