This conversation will focus on the idea of home places and witness, with renowned poet Sonia Sanchez and saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins discussing their roots and formational experiences in Philadelphia. The performance will also involve cooking by chef, farmer, and educator Laquanda Dobson, followed by a talk with the writer and professor Imani Perry, author of the critically acclaimed “Black in Blues.”
