In collaboration with the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, Penn Museum presents flutist Emi Ferguson and harpist Ashley Jackson for a conversation and musical demonstration, moderated by Assyriologist Paul Delnero. The conversation will explore the role of the flute and harp in Sumerian culture.

Civic Infrastructure Summit

As part of its mission to fundamentally rethink what it terms “civic infrastructure,” or placemaking projects like Dilworth Plaza, PennPraxis hosts this two-and-a-half-day summit to discuss challenges and questions in design, research, and policy alike. The conference features speakers from all areas of the field.
