Empty Desert
Penn Museum presents “Empty Desert,” documenting formerly nomadic Bedouin people. Their village Al Araqib, in Southern Israel, has been demolished countless times by state authorities and each time rebuilt by the Al Turi families who call it their home. A film discussion will follow, featuring filmmakers Silvia Boarini and Linda Paganelli.
