As part of WXPN’s ongoing “Gospel Roots of Rock and Soul” series, recognizing gospel’s influence in rock, soul, and R&B, Nashville-based, traveling a cappella ensemble the Fisk Jubilee Singers performs. The group, from Fink University, dates back to 1871 and is credited with spreading Black spirituals among white and northern audiences during that time period. Doors open at 7 p.m.; the show starts at 8 p.m.
