Graffiti & Ornament
Artists Roberto Lugo and and Leo Tecoksy present a combination of site-specific monumental vessels and glass, both in a hand-blown lamp form and hanging, that will project shapes onto the walls of the Woodlands' historic mansion. The works embrace a graffiti and hip-hop aesthetic that draws from a 19th-century graffiti inscription on the grounds. The opening event for the exhibit will be held March 31 from 1-4 p.m.
